Sometimes with my job as a journalist/assistant editor I get invited to some cool events. Normally it’s a PR company buttering us up so that we look favourably on them, or they hope we will write something about them – but hey, that’s okay with me. Some events are nothing to write home about but some are definitely a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
I met this company at Grand Designs Live and they invited me to their Bora glass box dining experience. It involved being enclosed in glass container and hoisted 30m into the air in a carpark next to the O2 which in itself doesn’t sound very glamorous, but the views were absolutely incredible!
We were treated to some seared and sliced steak with some sort of lovely pureed and cooked vegetables – and of course the wine was flowing. It was such a unique experience and one that I won’t be forgetting anytime soon!
Thank you to Bora for having us!
