When I googled Titanic Hotel, Liverpool, the words “luxury”, “quality” and “Spa” popped up and I thought to myself: “Surely we aren’t staying here?!”
I was staying in Liverpool for work, and when work books your hotel, you can pretty much guarantee that it will be a Premier Inn or a Travel Lodge and nothing fancy. That is why I was so amazed that we were staying here.
The room we had was lovely and spacious, with neutral and stylish decor and Titanic-themed art on the walls. We had a fridge in our room with a coffee maker and kettle, which we made use of. The bathroom was also very spacious with a bath big enough to swim in, as well as ‘his and hers’ sinks with neat toiletries lined up for us. The beds were very comfortable and were nice to sink into after a night out on Seel Street.
The bar area is very sophisticated and has a cosy feel, especially when the open fire is on. There are lots of sofas to sit in if you want to tuck yourself away somewhere with a gin and tonic and a good book.
The huge scale of the breakfast restaurant is impressive and has that industrial kind of feel. Now I appreciate a good breakfast buffet, but this is one of the best I have ever had. They have full English if that takes your fancy with fluffy scrambled egg, bacon, mushrooms, hash browns, tomato, baked beans, sausage and black pudding, but they also have a selection of cold meats, cheese, yoghurts in mason jars, fresh fruit, pastries and mini smoothies served in milk bottles, which I loved! The restaurant also looks out onto the quayside which I imagine is nice in the summer.
Overall, it was a very comfortable stay and I would definitely be staying here again if I have the opportunity to come up to Liverpool. Thank you for a lovely stay guys!
