Girls Support Girls: Strong Women Interview Series

At the end of 2018, having been inspired by the International Women’s Day breakfast panel that I attended, I made the new year’s resolution that I wanted to begin a new feature for my blog – a ‘Strong Women Series’. The reason I want to do this is because I am surrounded by strong women who inspire me on a daily basis, and by highlighting their strengths and telling their story. I hope that others will draw inspiration and courage from them.

I will be interviewing women that I find inspiring and whose power comes from different aspects of their personality and lives, whether it be their will-power, determination, talent, career, or even physical strength. Each one is strong in their own unique way.

I am hoping that by interviewing different women, I will learn something from each of them and, in turn, you will also be motivated by them. I have chosen these women because they are strong, yet they may not know it themselves.

Don’t get me wrong, I think all women are strong and by picking out a select few, I do not mean to say that everyone else is weak. I am hoping that you will see some of yourself in each woman that I interview, and that it will remind you of your own strength.

I will be launching the interview series during the same week as International Women’s Day, which takes place on Friday, March 8.

To kick off the series, I will be interviewing my very own mother, which I am super excited about as she is the main lady in my life.

I have formulated three simple questions that I will ask them and will be publishing a new interview every two months throughout the year. I very much hope you will enjoy it and find it inspiring.
