My Style: A Trip to the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden

Despite being a bit of a tomboy growing up (and perhaps I still am somewhat), I still love getting a pair of heels on and dressing up for an occasion. My mother recently presented me with one such opportunity when she booked us tickets to see the Bolshoi Ballet perform Don Quixote at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden.

I much prefer the ballet to the opera, and it used to be a bit of a tradition that we would go and see one or the other for Christmas. This time was by far the best seats we have ever had. We were off to the side of the stage but still very low and so close to the stage! It was utterly fabulous, and the dancers were so impressive.

In the summer it is also so lovely to sit outside on their roof terrace which has had a revamp.
