I like to call these smoothies the “You’ll thank me later” shakes. They don’t taste like a tasty oreo smoothie (which let’s face it, we would all much rather be drinking), but you know that they are packed full of goodness that will be good for you in the long run. I’m all about that long game for the #gainz.
In this smoothie I put a scoop of MyProtein vanilla protein powder, a handful of spinach, a handful of blueberries, a small glass of orange juice and some ice. Seriously, the ice makes it taste so much better. But I am basically trying to get rid of the vanilla protein powder because I find it too sickly sweet.
This smoothie was bearable and I would make it again as it consists of food items that I always have in my fridge.
